In 2019 the historic Surdyk’s Liqour store rebranded.
With an award winning rebrand came pro’s and con’s for the business moving forward. Pro’s were they had a stellar rebrand with a bunch of assets that were just screaming to be used out in the real world. The con was they didn’t have anybody to implement these amazing brand assets.
Below are some examples of the new aesthetics of the rebrand. Throughout the whole brand there is this line art aesthetic that is used to make patterns, illustrations, and icons.
In 2021 Surdyk’s hired Bone Designs to design stellar email campaigns, eye-catching social media graphics, attractive in-store print material and to flesh out their icon library.
You will see how Bone designs took an already elevated rebrand and eleveated it even more while staying true to the Surdyk’s brand - Artistic, yet fun. Cheerful, yet elegant. Utterly, uniquely, ownably Surdky’s.
Social Media Posts
Throughout the year Surdyk’s has multiple sales and celebrates numerous holidays. In order to promote these occasions they put out social media posts. These are a variety of graphics designed by Bone Designs within the Surdyk’s branding.
GIFT CARD DESIGN
In order to keep brand standards across a variety of mediums, Surdyk’s was in need of a redesign of their gift cards. Drawing on the iconography of Surdyk’s brand Bone Designs created this design to showcases the number of liquor products it provides.

When Surdyk’s rebranded they were given a good number of original icons to partner with the brand. Since working with Surdyk’s Bone Designs have added to the icon library. Here is the current catalog of icons for the brand.
EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
With the new rebrand they needed to implement the brand assets and leverage them into their email campaigns. Bone Designs came in and assessed what they were currently doing for the email campaigns, which wasn’t really working on a visual level. We revamped the layout, made the product images the focal point, with big call to action buttons for those juicy clicks!
